The experience
The spirit of this tasting experience is centered on the reinterpretation of traditional Sicilian dishes, crafted by Executive Chef Andrea Macca using carefully selected, strictly zero-kilometre ingredients. Enhanced by the elegance of Firriato’s most exclusive labels, this experience is designed for those who share a passion for wine and wish to indulge in something truly unique and distinctive.

The guided tasting includes the sampling of four wines presented by our Sommelier, who will explain the winemaking techniques behind each label, illustrate the agronomic practices employed, and conclude with a sensory analysis.

Libeccio features a three-course menu: a starter, a main course, and a house dessert.

During the tasting, guests will also have the opportunity to sample Firriato’s organic extra virgin olive oil, a blend of Cerasuola and Nocellara—native cultivars from the Trapani countryside.

Meat-based courses
– Selection of wines at the discretion of our sommelier 
– Starter: Vegetable flan with crispy bacon, carrot cream, oranges and parmesan fondue
– Second course: Braised beef cheek with Cavanera Rosso jus, rosemary mashed potatoes, and seasonal vegetables
– Dessert: Ricotta Cannolo with Bronte Pistachio

Fish-based courses
– Selection of wines at the discretion of our sommelier 
– Starter: Triplum of «caponata» with a confit caper and basil emulsion, sweet-and-sour sauce, and grated dark chocolate
– Second course: Mediterranean catch with traditional ‘Agghiotta’ sauce accompanied by steamed turned potatoes
– Dessert: Ricotta Cannolo with Bronte Pistachio

From Palermo: Take the A29 highway towards Trapani – Mazara del Vallo. At the junction, keep right towards “Trapani – Aeroporto Birgi.” Exit at Trapani and continue to Contrada Soria.

By public transport:

Plane: From Trapani “Vincenzo Florio” Airport, you can reach Baglio Sorìa by rental car or taxi (about 20 minutes).
From Palermo “Falcone Borsellino” Airport, you can reach Baglio Sorìa by rental car or taxi (about 53 minutes).

Ferry: Connections from Genoa, Naples, Civitavecchia, and Livorno with Tirrenia Navigazione or Grimaldi. Continue by car or opt for a taxi transfer.
